Booking agreement applicable from 01/01/2024

Your Smileologist has been rebranded to The Gemist Hub as of March 2023. All existing terms and agreements remain in effect under the new business name.

Health & Safety

If you are feeling unwell, experiencing cold or flu symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment. Solo appointments are required at our Sydney location.

Deposits

  • A deposit is required within 48 hours of booking to secure your appointment.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Your deposit will be deducted from the total service cost on the day of your appointment.

Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule.
  • Rescheduling requests must be made via Instagram DM to @thegemisthub.aus.
  • Rescheduling within 48 hours may result in deposit forfeiture at our discretion.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations will result in full forfeiture of your deposit.
  • No-shows will result in a ban from future bookings.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in service refusal.

Late Arrivals

  • If you are running late, please notify us immediately.
  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be automatically cancelled.
  • Automatic cancellation results in deposit forfeiture.

Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Card (1.9% surcharge for on-site card payments)
  • Bank transfer
  • Beem It
  • Afterpay (Buy Now, Pay Later)

Patient Confidentiality

We comply with the Australian Dental Association's guidelines on patient confidentiality. All patient records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as per regulatory requirements. Card payment details are securely stored via Square payment processing.

Liability

By booking an appointment with The Gemist Hub, you acknowledge and agree that no legal action will be taken against the practitioner or business for outcomes arising from the treatment, provided all professional standards of care have been met.
